The .sch.ng SLD is a closed domain and reserved ONLY for Primary, Secondary or other non degree awarding educational institutions in Nigeria. This is a preferred domain extension for Schools looking to gain recognition for their institution and as such requires certain documents in other for the registration to be completed. Listed below are the documents,
- A scanned copy of an authorization letter from the school requesting for the domain, Kindly note that this should be presented on the school’s letterhead.
- A scanned copy of the certificate of accreditation from the government
Registration Procedure Authorization Letter on the Institution's Letterhead to be addressed to Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) and it must be signed by the head of the institution or the next officer in the hierarchy.

After you have submitted us these documents, we will forward them to NIRA (.NG Domains Registry) for approval. After they have verified all your documents, they will then activate your domain name. We will then inform you once your domain is active & ready for use.
In most cases the documents are approved and the domain is activated in under 1 Week.
